Time: 6:02PM
Weather: Cold, rainy

We're chilling on the platform of the train station waiting for the ICE (Intercontinental Express) train to pick us up as we embark on the journey Berlin, Germany.
Amsterdam was an intense experience. All of these completely diverse cultures walking about in a mass array of townies and tourists. We were no exception. People usually guessed right off the bat that we were Americans. That really isn't a problem with the locals. It seemed like at least half of the time their signs and advertisements were in English and they greet you in English. It rained all day today and was mostly cloudy throughout the week.
I had a great time conversing with the locals, checking out the head shops, and "spaced" coffee shops, the craziness of the Red Light District where doormen solicited all types of services in their clubs, and where Rome didn't go for the services of a prosty.
Most of the time in Amsterdam was spent resting and refitted after a long first week of traveling. Ate some brownies, saw some beautiful sights, and enjoyed.
Berlin now awaits and there is a sense of adventure beginning to ring in my head. Let the journey begin.
